Christmas Fairs

I’ve been scratching my head a lot about fairs and evens this year. I attended Okehampton Show in August this year, but that’s about it. I really wanted to get into a Christmas event this year to dip my toes in the water and see if it works for me.

Every event I enquired about was full, not the right thing, already has jewellery of my “type” or just didn’t seem the right venue.

I must admit, I was starting to feel a bit down. Then a chance conversation led me to a couple of venues that might have space.

I’m very pleased to announce that I will be attending the Lupton House Christmas Fair on the 28th and 29th of November (www.discoverlupton.com).

Also, I’m very excited about attending The Bovey Castle Christmas Fair on 6th December. They also do a fantastic afternoon tea there, but you will need to book. (www.boveycastle.com)

Both of these venues are incredibly picturesque and well worth a visit. My first view of Bovey Castle was a few years ago. I was driving up trough mist and then suddenly it appeared. It left quite an impression on me.
