18ct gold Snake ring with Ruby eyes.
A nice example of an early 20th Century Snake ring with a little pattern left near the head. The Ruby eyes are a nice bright colour.
Dimensions: The shank measures approximately 8mm wide at the back of the shank and 14mm at the widest point (including the head).
Finger Size: The ring is a finger size X UK/AU (11 3/4 US, Almost a 66 EU).
Metal and Markings: Hallmarks for London, 1927 (a lovely Gothic M)
Weight: 8.88g approx.
Condition: There is still plenty of wear left in this ring although most of the original pattern has gone. There is evidence of sizing internally on the ring, but this is nicely finished on the outside, matching the pattern. The Rubes are nice and bright.
All vintage items have been worn and loved before they find their next owner, so they should always be worn or used with a little more care than a brand-new piece. Some minor scratches are normal. All vintage pieces I sell have been thoroughly cleaned and lightly polished when required. If repairs are needed before it's offered for sale, they are completed sympathetically.
Thank you for looking and please have a look around the other items in my shop.
