Vintage, 18ct gold Filed Spiga Chain.
I don't often have vintage chains for sale as the vast majority are worn out before people decide to move them on, but this one is in exceptionally good condition.
This necklace is approximately 46cm (18") long and 1.5mm wide. The clasp is a trigger clasp, which is working well. The chain is solid and has facet (or filed links) meaning it catches the light nicely. It's Italian made.
Metal/Hallmarks: Hallmarks for London, Common Control Mark (convention mark) for 18ct gold and a sponsors mark of PM. It also has Italian 750 marks.
Weight is approximately 5.79g
Condition: Practically as new. I recently had to supply a new version for just under £600, if only it was a bit later they could have had this one.
All vintage items have been worn and loved before they find their next owner, so they should always be worn or used with a little more care than a brand new piece. Some minor scratches are normal. All vintage pieces I sell have been thoroughly cleaned and lightly polished when required. If repairs are needed before it's offered for sale, they are completed sympathetically.
Thank you for looking and please have a look around my shop.
