Maundy Coin set from 1908 in tooled, leather, case.
This set of coins are in great condition with a wonderful toning to them. Sadly I can't say the same abut the case as it's badly damaged, but it has done the job of protecting the coins.
This set was presented on Maundy Thursday, 1908 during the reign of Edward VII (7th).
Maundy money is legal tender, but I've never heard of anyone spending them as their numismatic value is far greater the the collective 10 pence face value. They are even much more than their sterling silver content.
These are in uncirculated condition, with toning. Spink ref: 3985
