John Bradbury One Pound Treasury Note, 1917.

Duggleby Ref: T16 Serial E6 997348

VF condition. Once folded into 8 but the creases aren't too sharp. Nibbled edges but still pretty good.  think I've graded hard on this one, it is a lovely antique (yes, 100 year old) bank note, but please make your own assessments.

In my opinion, these treasury notes are some of the most important in UK currency history as they were intended to replace the Gold Sovereign as the regular, circulating currency of £1.

Great as a new baby gift as when they reach adulthood, they will have an antique to appreciate or sell.

Thank you for looking.

P.S. The "Damian Miles Jeweller" is not on the note, but is a watermark to the image.
