John Bradbury One Pound Treasury Note, 1917.
Duggleby Ref: T16 Serial C55 992268
AVF/VF condition. Once folded into 8 but the creases aren't too sharp. Nibbled edges but still pretty good.
In my opinion, these treasury notes are some of the most important in UK currency history as they were intended to replace the Gold Sovereign as the regular, circulating currency of £1.
Great as a new baby gift as when they reach adulthood, they will have an antique to appreciate or sell.
Treasury Notes are an expensive and highly addictive thing to collect and I am having to reduce my collection.
All gradings are my own opinion and I would ask that you study the images carefully to make your own assessments.
