Sterling Silver Sifter Spoon. Ornate and gilded.

The spoon weighs approximately 27.6 grams. It measures approximately 115 mm (4 1/2") long and the bowl is approximately 43 mm (1 5/8") wide. There is very slight evidence of a repair in the stem below the hallmark, but this has been well done. The gilding cannot be original due to the repair. The bowl is very slightly off round, but I rarely see a chased bowl that isn't.

All vintage items have been worn and loved before they find their next owner, so they should always be worn or used with a little more care than a brand new piece. Some minor scratches are normal. All vintage pieces I sell have been thoroughly cleaned and lightly polished when required. If repairs are needed before it's offered for sale, they are completed sympathetically.
