Vintage, 22 ct gold court shape, (oval cross section) wedding ring.
22ct gold offers such a warm, rich, colour like no other. I'm always asked if 22ct gold is too soft for a wedding ring and here is proof that it's not.
This piece was made by J.W.Benson Ltd. and hallmarked at the London Assay Office in 1939. The ring has worn very well with only and a few scratches and marks.
It is a finger size N (6 3/4 US) and measures approximately 4 mm wide. It's a substantial ring weighing in at approximately 5.90 grams.
If you would like this re-sized, please send me a message before purchasing and we can work out what's possible.
All vintage items have been worn and loved before they find their next owner, so they should always be worn or used with a little more care than a brand new piece. Some minor scratches are normal. All vintage pieces I sell have been thoroughly cleaned and lightly polished when required. If repairs are needed before it's offered for sale, they are completed sympathetically.
Thank you for looking and please have a look around the other items in my shop.
