Vintage Pearl necklace on a white gold clasp set with a Pearl.
A very long row of saltwater cultured pearls finished off with a 585 stamped white clasp set with a single cultured pearl. 585 is the gold standard for 14ct gold, but as it does not have a UK hallmark, I cannot legally call it 14ct gold. The tongue of the clasp looks like a replacement, but is springy and strong. The clasp measures approximately 17 mm x 9 mm.
The pearls are of approximately 6.5 to 7 mm in diameter and are of an oval shape giving what I think is a more natural look, but these are cultured and not natural. The pearls have a good to fair lustre and a few surface blemishes. The colour is a more creamy colour, but not yellow in any way. There is a variation in size going through the row. The pearls are strung with a knot between each pearl. An impressive length necklace.

All vintage items have been worn and loved before they find their next owner, so they should always be worn or used with a little more care than a brand new piece. Some minor scratches are normal. All vintage pieces I sell have been thoroughly cleaned and lightly polished when required. If repairs are needed before it's offered for sale, they are completed sympathetically.
Thank you for looking and please have a look around the other items in my shop.
