Vintage Single stone Diamond ring in 18ct gold.
This piece doesn't fit in pigeon holes very well. Although the ring dates from the 1980's, the Diamond is much older, being from the 1880's. A one hundred year difference between the two. This most often occurs when the original ring is so worn that it is not practical to repair or restore it any longer or when a larger piece is broken up to make new jewellery. Either way it makes it a Vintage/Antique piece.
