Art Nouveau Peridot and Split pearl pendant in 9ct gold.
 
A pretty little Peridot and Split pearl mounted in 9ct gold. There's no hallmark,but there is a stamped "9ct" mark, the metal has been tested to confirm the carat.
This measures approximately 40mm (1 1/2") top to tail and 21mm (3/4") wide. In the centre is one,pear shape Peridot and there is a smaller, pear shape, Peridot drop to the bottom. The main part of the pendant is set with split natural pearls, but one in the centre looks like a replacement. This piece is solidly made for this period and in very good condition.
 
All vintage items have been worn and loved before they find their next owner, so they should always be worn or used with a little more care than a brand new piece. Some minor scratches are normal. All vintage pieces I sell have been thoroughly cleaned and lightly polished when required. If repairs are needed before it's offered for sale, they are completed sympathetically.
