One of a kind, Handmade ring, in hall marked sterling silver. I love to re-purpose and recycle when I can and I bought an Antique brooch that was beyond repair. Se in the middle was a large, cabochon cut, Garnet with a pearl set in the centre. I wanted to re-use this wonderful stone, so I took it out and set it upside down in a ring. These Carbuncles, as they are known, are concave at the back to lighten the appearance. When it's the other way up it produces a lovely effect. This is an entirely handmade piece, made by me in my Devon workshop.
 
It measures approximately 8mm (3/8") off the finger and 15mm (5/8") in diameter. Finger size P 1/2 (8 US ) and bears a full UK hallmark with my own initialled mark. The stone has a few minor chips and scratches as it's been around for 100 years before I got it! Thank you for looking around my shop.
