Tahitian Cultured Pearl cross-over ring. With interesting pearls, I think the trick is not to over complicate things. That's why this sweet little Ringed, Tahitian, Cultured Pearl sits on top of a simple, 9ct gold, cross over band. This pearl was in a lot with many others, just waiting for the right person to spot it. A friend of mine that is in the jewellery trade spotted it at the same time and we would have had a fight over it I think if I hadn't have decided so quickly. The pearl measures approximately 8 mm in diameter and the hallmarked, 9ct white gold, shank of the ring measures approximately 1.5 mm wide. The metal has been hardened to resist going out of shape. This is a finger size R (US 8.5-8.75). Pearls rings should be worn with a little more care as pearls are a bit softer than gemstones. Also, to appreciate the full beauty of this pearl, it is set high and if worn without care, the pearl could take a knock.
