Vintage Diamond cluster ring in a rub over (bezel) setting. 18ct gold.
A nice, easy to wear, smooth Diamond cluster ring in 18ct gold. This is a little different to many cluster rings as the 2 Diamonds next to the shoulder are slightly larger than the others in that tier. The centre Diamond is a little larger again. The shoulders have a lovely horizontal split with an additional detail of a leaf shape to the top providing a wide enough appearance to visually support the head.
Dimensions: The setting measures approximately 12mm x 10.5mm. The shank measures approximately 2mm wide, splaying at the shoulder.
Ring Size: UK Size L, US Size 6.
Gemstone Details: This is set with a centre Round Brilliant cut Diamond measuring approximately 3.5mm, 2x Round brilliant Cut diamonds to the shoulder points of approximately 2.6mm and the remaining 6 Diamonds measure approximately 2.1mm. The Diamonds appear to be in the G-H range for colour and VS for clarity. The Manufacturers stated weight of Diamonds is 0.50cts (from the sales receipt).
Marks/Metal: The ring has a full UK hallmark for FEU (Fred Ullman), London, 18ct gold, 1996.
Condition: Very good. There are a few marks to the metal and evidence of a little wear to the settings, but nothing to worry about. It's a lovely looking ring in a nice quality and very wearable.
Sizing: It is possible to size this, but please ask first, so we can make sure it's possible and what cost/timescale may be involved.
